MLK Dinner
Join one of the nation’s largest university-sponsored events commemorating Dr. martin Luther King. Last year, more than 2,000 people attended SU’s event at the Carrier Dome.
The event which includes dinner, a speaker and awards is FREE to ESF and SU students with a meal plan. Sign up TODAY with your RA. The dinner and program begin at 5pm Sunday January 24th, 2010 at the Carrier Dome.
This years key note speaker is Gwen Ifill. Ifill is a moderator and managing editor of PBS’ “Washington Week” and senior correspondent for “The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer.”

Save a life in Haiti
Give blood and save a Haiti earthquake survivor

Sign-up for a time slot beginning tomorrow (1/20) in the Goldstein atrium or the South Campus Residence Life Office. WALK-INS on Friday are also welcome.
The Red Cross has communicated that blood is in extreme high need due to blood being shipped to Haiti and also needed for use in the US. Do your part and give blood! A portion of the blood gathered during this drive will be sent to help earthquake survivors.
